Meet Anna

ANNA MORRISON, OWNER & FOUNDER OF AM TRAVEL

Travel Curator, Experience Maker.

Immediately after completing her BA at Dalhousie University, Anna hopped on a plane to London, England which she made home for several very formative years in her 20's. A lover of travel already, it was London's proximity to Europe that really developed Anna's passion for seeing the world, and where she realized the importance of getting out of one's comfort zone and exploring other cultures to better understand and appreciate the world we live in. 

Upon her return to Canada, she had a successful career in photography production, and social media content creation- where she planned and executed photoshoots around the world for luxury brands. Following that, Anna was fortunate to take some time off to raise her three children, and spend time with her family. It was in planning travel for her family during this period, that ultimately lead to Anna's decision to become a travel advisor.

Now, very knowledgeable about what it takes to travel successfully with (very) young children, and with many trips under her belt, it is Anna's passion for planning and obsession with traveling well, that make her a wonderful choice to plan your next adventure.

    1. Time Saving – The average person spends between 10 and 20 hours planning a trip. This can increase if you are planning for many people or a complicated itinerary. When you use me, you can still daydream about the fun stuff, but I can help you in ultimately making the right decisions, and planning out the small details out that lead to an excellent vacation- saving you so much time.

    2. For the same reason you use any expert in your life.  - Travel is an investment, and having the peace of mind to know that every detail has been planned properly, the knowledge that if you have an issue there is someone there to help fix it, and ultimately that you are spending your money in the best way possible to maximize your experience is really comforting.

      The travel industry is set up to provide the best service to the travel industry! We work hard to make first hand connections with local contacts, hotels and anyone who you might interact with on a vacation, and those connections will create better experiences for you. We also have preferred partner benefits, which can mean perks and upgrades you would not otherwise receive.

  • The best time to book your trip is whenever you are ready! There is no perfect time to book a trip, however we do recommend booking at least 4-6 months in advance, if possible, to ensure that you are getting the best rates and room selection.

  • Through our affiliation with Travel Edge, we have preferred partnerships with many luxury hotel, tour, and cruise brands including Four Seasons, Rosewood, Belmond, Abercrombie & Kent, and many more! 

  • It completely depends on what you are hoping to book! If you simply need help choosing a hotel for a quick trip, then that is a complementary service, and we are happy to hook you up with all of our preferred partner benefits when we do! For itinerary development we do charge a fee of $250/ per person - which allows us to take care of details like transportation, tours, excursions and even restaurant reservations- truly giving you a luxury experience before you even make it to the airport! 

  • By using a travel advisor to book a short trip you can come out ahead by a lot! Our best preferred partners offer free breakfast and often room credits of up to $100 regardless of the length of stay which can be put towards spa treatments or dining!
